AHMの『ATTACK!』の謎。
すっかり有名になった？
アメホンのCB750Fレーサーに書かれた『ATTACK!』の文字。
この写真は1980年の#88 Roberto PietriのCB750Fです。
置かれたタンクには『ATTACK!』の文字は、まだ書かれていません。
展示されてからしばらくして本番車のタンクになった様ですね。
因みに、こちらは1980年のFreddie Spencer。
こちらは1980年の#88 Roberto Pietriの本番車。タンクには『ATTACK!』の文字が見えますね！
1981年の#19 Freddie Spencer車と#73 Mike Spencer車。
これにも『ATTACK!』のペイントは無し。
こちらは1982年のDAYTONAの撮影風景。
本番車ではなかったのか、タンクには『ATTACK!』の文字が有りませんね。
同じく1982年の#88 Roberto Pietri車。
こちらは本番車の様で『ATTACK!』の文字が確認出来ます。
茂木の1982年の#19 Freddie Spencer車のタンクにも『ATTACK!』の文字は有りません。
こちらは1982年の#43 Mike Boldwin車、#38 Steve Wise車。
『ATTACK!』の文字は有りませんね。
現存する#38 Steve Wise(#19 背面点火 FWSスイングアーム)車も『ATTACK!』の文字は無し。
こうしてスタッフが#88 Roberto Pietriにサインを出していました。
そうなのです。
Roberto PietriのCB750Fにだけ書かれていたのです。

2) Specification
(1) The following parts should be overlaid with at least two leathers, a minimum thickness of 8 mm, or equivalent performance
It must be protected with a cushioning material. As a measure of the performance of the cushioning material with a thickness of 8 mm, no impact acceleration of 200 G or more shall be generated.

(3) When applying bumps to the back, it is preferable that the surface is not a hard material (resin, etc.) but a structure that can be incised and the contents can be taken out. (To reduce the neck load when putting on a stretcher at rescue)
(4) Although lining is not an essential condition, it is desirable that the lining is flame-retardant when attached.

(6) To apply separately for a racing suit of a two-piece type, be sure to note the following specifications.
・ The top (outerwear) and bottom (pants) of the two pieces shall be attached by fasteners (number 5 or more). (Suspension type pants whose upper and lower parts are not connected are not acceptable)
・ The upper and lower attachment parts are covered by the upper skirt so that the fastener is not exposed on the front side, and the skirt requires a length of about 5 cm so that it is difficult to roll up. Also, the lower fastener installation point shall be protected by leather or thick material such as nylon, so that the fastener does not hit the body directly. The length of that part needs about 5 cm.
2. Approved standards for racing suit for super moto are as follows. 1) The applicable standard shall be "official certification of racing suit for road racing".
2) For super moto racing suit only, A part (from the chest to the lower abdomen excluding the abdominal side part) emphasizes exercise performance and can use the material considering the safety of the rider.
3) Based on material test results, it will be judged at the competition equipment committee along with the specifications of the product.
4) The official recognized racing suit must affix "MFJ official recognition mark for Super Moto".
Article 5 Approved examination
1) certified screening
- The official approval is carried out by the equipment team for MFJ competition and has the authority of decision. The examination is based on the fourth Tuesday of every month. - When it is judged that it deviates markedly from the economic and safety which is the purpose of the certified system, it may not be accepted in some cases. ・ The MFJ Competition Equipment Group has the right to decide on exceptional measures concerning official recognition.
2) The official recognition and effectiveness in cases where the official approval is entered and approved shall be from the day following the appraisal date.
Article 6 Fees for accredited applications
The fee for the official application of the racing suit is as follows and must be delivered to MFJ at the time of application. In addition, the shipping fee when returning the racing suit is cash on delivery.
1) Certified application fee 1 model 20,000 yen (excluding tax)
2) Additional application fee 1 Model 5,000 yen (excluding tax)
3) Material test fee (including transportation expense, test result communication fee)
1 Leather material strength test fee 1 time 10,000 yen (excluding tax)
2 Fiber material strength test fee 1 time 10,000 yen (excluding tax) Additional fee may be added to the above fee. However, the test fee varies depending on the material.
4) Re-official application fee 1 model 5,000 yen (excluding tax)
Article 7 Sticking of official recognition mark
1. The authorized racing suit shall affix the official mark to the following part. Chest fastener folding (placket) part
2. MFJ official mark fee (sewing type) Road race One certified mark for racing suit 300 yen (excluding tax) 1 Supermarket approved mark for racing suit 300 yen (excluding tax)
※ The MFJ official mark fee must be paid by the deadline stipulated by MFJ. ※ The sales lot of the new MFJ official mark shall be 10 units.
3. MFJ official marks should not be affixed to unauthorized racing suit.
4. If the official authorization is canceled, we can stop purchasing the MFJ official mark promptly and possess or control
You must remove the MFJ official mark from the racing suit.
5. Racing suit Left chest Inside or on the placard part, there must be a place to specify the name and blood type. (See the National Racing Rules "Appendix 4: Equipment of the Racing Competition Rules 10 Riders")
